With "The Classics," Zimmer presents a selection of his greatest works in 2017. Instead of just collecting them on one album, however, the composer dedicated himself to the pieces again, rearranged them and recorded them once more with the help of some top-class musicians from classical music, pop and jazz. Guests on "The Classics" include Chinese star pianist Lang Lang, US crossover violinist Lindsey Stirling, British singer-songwriter Leona Lewis, Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili and many more.

On "The Classics" they interpret themes and pieces from the films "The Dark Knight Rises", "Pirates Of The Caribbean", "Gladiator", "Crimson Tide", "Inception", "The Lion King", "Man Of Steel", "The Thin Red Line" and "Interstellar".
