It follows on from\u003cbr\u003ethree stunning EP's; Black Moon (2017), When The Sun Dips 90 Degrees (2018) and\u003cbr\u003eMorning Matters (2020), a trilogy of sorts, named in part by the settings in which they\u003cbr\u003ewere written. Voice Notes is similarly inspired by something that helped the album\u003cbr\u003espring to life. Made out of studio jam sessions alongside collaborators like Craigie\u003cbr\u003eDodds, JD.REID, Melo-Zed and executive producer Dave Okumu, the recording\u003cbr\u003eprocess intentionally captured the beauty of imperfection.\u003cbr\u003eSonically she is uncategorisable, made up of many styles and influences. 'There's lots\u003cbr\u003eof different flavours in there in terms of different ways I express myself,' she shares.\u003cbr\u003e'The things that I listen to, music that I love -it's hard to place it. In some ways I would\u003cbr\u003ecall it soul because that's where it comes from, my own soul. But I always avoid that;\u003cbr\u003eit's all perception.
